About Our Community
Caribbean Estates is a gated community on the bernard lodge and dumbeholden roads (There are two entrances to the community) St Catherine which has eight clusters with its own executive body. Each of the 8 clusters is named after a Caribbean Island and are as follows:
St Lucia – Block A
Martinique – Block B
Dominica – Block C
St Vincent – Block D
Barbados – Block E
Grenada – Block F
St Martin – Block G
Trinidad - Block H
To further enhance the island themes, the street names within each cluster is also synonymous with some feature from the island it was taken. Each cluster is so branded and boasts its own electronic gate with tele entry system.
SHOPPING
A small shopping complex is included on the compound for residents convenience. This complex boasts its own convenient stores such as:
Hair Dressing and Barber Salon
Minimart and Convenience store
Gym
Sports lounge
These are easy walking distance to homes.
SECURITY
The first truly gated community in Portmore boasts manned security post at both of its main entrances along with secure perimeter fencing.
